April 20, 2011: Vaci utca and other local sites

April 20, 2011: The past couple days I have met my family in Vaci utca after having taught at school. It seems that my kids prefer to stay in this area exclusively, forgoing sightseeing any other part of the city. The pictures that follow are therefore ones taken close to Vaci utca.

Finally, Ruth and I left the kids to enjoy themselves in the area they enjoy so much while we went on to see Buda and the Fisherman's Bastion.

The weather these past several days couldn't have been nicer. It was a pleasure to visit these sites even though I had visited them many times before.
